DMX began to rap in the middle of the 1990s. In May 1998, he recorded his debut album, It's DARK and HELL IS HOT. The other albums he released were... and then There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again The Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ, Flesh of Blood and Flesh. In 2001, he was nominated for the Grammy Award for the Best Rap Album Category. The album titled...And There was X. He has also appeared in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five, Exit Wounds The Bleeding Romeo to Die Backstage over the Law Lockjaw and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
